Explore:

Who was your best friend growing up?

What kind of covenant did you have with your friend?

To what clubs did you pledge your allegiance?

Why do we pledge allegiance to the United States?



Scripture Reference:  Daniel 1:1-8, Exodus 6:5-7, Matthew 5:14, 2 Corinthians 6:14-17



Excavate:

Why was Daniel so committed to his God?

To what covenant were Daniel and the other young men staying true?  (Exodus 6:5-7)

How were they called out to serve God?

What do you think would have happened to them if they had conformed?



Extract:

What covenant has God made with us?  (2 Corinthians 6:14-17)

How do we uphold our part of the covenant?

What does conforming look like in your life?

How had God called you out to be a light to the world?

How has God called out the Grace Place?
