Break the Huddle: Finding Our Position

Explore:

What did you want to be when you grew up?

Have you ever changed careers?  From what to what?

What would your career be if you didn’t need the money?

 

Scripture Reference:  Acts 3:1-10 and Acts 4:1-22

 

Excavate:

Who gave Peter and John their authority?  (See Luke 24:47)

Why were the authorities surprised by their courage?

What was Peter and John’s response to being commanded to not teach of Jesus?

Why did they feel compelled to speak and teach of Jesus?

 

Extract:

What is so special about the name of Jesus?

What gives you courage to speak about Jesus?

What miracles can you testify about?

How does your faith give you a sense of determination?

 

Prayer:

Pray for our pastoral staff.

Pray for potential small group members and new facilitators.

Pray for new small groups.

Pray for new discipleship class.
