Take it Outside! Grace on the Go!

The following questions are to be used as a study aid for Sunday, October 6, 2013.  Since the congregation left the building to service the community, there is no video this week.

These questions can be used in your private Bible study during the week or as the topic for a small group study. For more information on hosting or leading a small group study, click on "GP Small Groups" under "GP Ministries" at www.graceplace.us.

Fellowship: (Break bread with your community, share life from last week, announcements for next week)

Icebreaker: (Get to know your fellow believers a little bit better using this week’s topic)

Did you participate in Grace on the Go on Sunday?
If so, what did you do?
What did you learn from your experience?
How can you repeat that experience during the year?

Worship: (Optional for communities who have the time and talent)

Scripture: (Read the word together – use different readers, different versions, just read it)
Read the scripture before ask the questions.

Lesson: (Delve deeper into the Word and using open-ended questions)
In the Bible, “outside” was a dirty, evil and lonely place, yet, Jesus chose to take it outside to those who needed His message of forgiveness.

(Mark 1:45) Where did Jesus go to preach?
Who made up His “church?”
(Acts 16:13) Where did Jesus find His followers?
What kind of people where they?
(Mark 4:11) How do you feel about knowing Jesus when others don’t?
(Colossians 4:5) How can you share the Good News with them?
(Hebrews 13:12-13) Jesus lived and died outside.
How can we follow His example?

Prayer: (Share each other’s burdens, become a community of believers)
Pray for new community groups that will be forming, their leaders and hosts.
