Lesson: (Delve deeper into the Word and into the sermon
using open-ended questions)
Walking
is an action most of us take for granted until some accident or illness takes
away that simple pleasure. The writer of
Proverbs 4 uses the simple act of walking as a metaphor for an obedient
life. He reminds us to keep our feet on
the right path that has been shown us by those who have walked it before
us. Guard your Heart! Don’t stumble!
What is wisdom?
How is wisdom different from knowledge?
Why is it important to be taught God’s
principles when we are young?
Why is wisdom important in our walk with
Christ?
How do we keep from losing our way as we
get older?
What does it mean to guard your heart?
How do you share your heart with others?
Prayer: (Share each other’s burdens, become a community
of believers)
