Fellowship: (Break bread with your community, share life
from last week, announcements for next week)
Icebreaker: (Get to know your fellow believers a little
bit better using this week’s topic
What do you see when you look in the mirror?
Are you serious, fun-loving, shy or outgoing?
Describe a perfect day.
Scripture: (Read the word together – use different
readers, different versions, just read it
Psalm 139 (Another
good passage to let the Bible app read for you.)
Lesson: (Delve deeper into the Word and into the sermon
using open-ended questions)
The prophet Samuel rebuked King Saul by saying David was
a man after God’s own heart. Maybe David
was that man because he did periodic self-introspections. He knew his faults and failures but also knew
that God was the source of his strength.
Dive into Psalm 139 and let it speak to you.
How can God know everything about you?
Knowing God is always present – scary or comforting?
How do you use your unique gifts to serve God?
How do you feel about constructive criticism?
What methods does God use to correct us?
When do you feel God leading you?
Prayer: (Share each other’s burdens, become a community
of believers)
