THANKS A LOT! Approach Life with Faith

Hebrews 11:1-3, 39-40, 12:1-2

Lesson: (Delve deeper into the Word and into the sermon using open-ended questions)
This week humans sent up a spacecraft and landed it on a comet.  Except for a few meteors and moon rocks, there is nothing new on the earth.  Everything that is here has always been here.  Humans can create new things but they cannot create something from nothing.

How would you describe faith?
Names some things we believe in even though we can’t see them.
Who is/has been a pillar of faith to you?
How do/did they exhibit their faith?
How is our faith dependent on the faith of those who have gone before us?
What happens when we get our eyes off Jesus?
What builds faith?


Prayer: (Share each other’s burdens, become a community of believers)
