WE ARE CONVINCED: The Case for God

The big story of the week has been “Deflate-gate.”  Did the New England Patriots use under-inflated footballs in order to achieve an unfair advantage?  We will never know.  We live in a world where no one wants to be accountable for their wrong doings.  Not much has changed since David’s days.

What makes a person wise?
What makes a person foolish?
Why do we dislike accountability?
Where can we find accountability?
How do you seek God?
When do you feel overwhelmed by evildoers?
How can you possibility be who God wants you to be?

Overview: In the Christmas classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” angel Clarence Odbody is forced to lovingly deliver some tough love when George wishes he had never been born. STEPS OF FAITH

Only the passage of time can judge how far we have travelled and how well we have followed the Lord in steps of faith. Time goes quickly and slowly simultaneously. We encounter tremendous obstacles along the way such as leaders with moral failings and a mountain of debt and the obstacles seems unsurmountable; yet, we put one step in front of the other placing our faith in God. “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” ― Corrie ten Boom   It takes courage and steadfastness to keep going.
