PEOPLE WHO NEED PEOPLE: Fierce Fathers

Who is your favorite TV dad?
What characteristics make a good dad?
Why is it so important be have good fathers?

Scripture:
Joshua 5:7, 13-15; Luke 1:16-17

Lesson:
We need more fierce fathers who will be the spiritual leader their children need.  We need more people who will follow Joshua’s example and be an obedient servant leader.  May we all say, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”     

What does the next generation learn from us?
How do you describe “influence?”
Why is influence important to leadership?
How can we be a leader and a servant?
Who are we to be obedient to?
How do we develop a heart for others?
Why does caring about others make us a better leader?
