Fellowship:
Icebreaker:
How are you at taking tests?
What is the most difficult test you have ever taken?
What is your pre-test preparation?
Scripture:
Genesis 22:1-19
Lesson:
The exam to be licensed
as an insurance agent was the hardest test I have ever experienced. My brain was bulging with facts and figures
as I tried to hold it there long enough to past the test. That difficult test was a walk in the park
compared to the test God gave Abraham.
Our faith in God always involves risks.
Why did God need to test Abraham?
How does God test us?
Why did God ask for Issac to be the test?
What did Abraham think about on that three day journey?
How did Abraham show faith in God to his servants? To Issac?
What was Issac thinking as his father bound him?
What do we learn about Issac’s faith?
What was the mood on the journey home?
What was Abraham’s reward for withholding nothing?
What do you need to release to God?
