Fellowship:

Icebreaker:
What did you dream of being as a child?
What was your first job?
What is your dream job now?

Scripture:
Colossians 3:16-17, 22-4:1

Lesson:
Multiple candidates are now vying for the most difficult job in the world, president of the United States.  We are sizing them up based on their words and actions.  Who would represent us best?  Everyday our words and actions speak volumes about who were are as the Lord’s representative.  (For this lesson, “work” means paid or unpaid activities.)

What should be the source of our words and actions?
Why does it matter how we do our work?
How do you handle a difficult assignment?  Difficult boss?  Co-worker?
How does a grateful heart affect our work?
How much volunteer work do you do?
How do you answer “What’s in it for me?”
Who are we ultimately working for?
What reward or pay do we receive for our work?
