What is your favorite part of the Christmas story?
Which person would you most like to be in the Christmas story?

Scripture:
Luke 1:26-38

Lesson:
Most of us are fortunate to have experienced our mother’s special touch.  Maybe it was her cool hand on a fevered forehead, her nimble fingers tying a sash or bowtie or her healing touch ministering to a skinned knee.  And, so it was with Mary, the mother of Jesus, except that her loving touch was bestowed on the Son of God.

What do we learn about Mary from the scripture?
What made Mary the perfect mother for Jesus?
Why do you think God chose a natural birth for Jesus?
What can we learn from Mary’s obedience?
How can God use us in our world?
