Fellowship:

Icebreaker:
Have you ever been on a mission?
Was it for work, military, government or for a church?
Where was the mission to?
If you could go on a church mission now, where would you like to go?

Scripture:
Matthew 28:18-20
Acts 1:7-8, 2:42-47

Lesson:
We have all met a “cultural” Christian – someone who attends church or claims to believe in God but is missing some of the markers of real Christianity.  The Bible tells us that by our fruits we are known.  Our goal is to be a Biblical Christian producing a bumper crop of fruit!

What is our mission as Christians?
Why was it not just the mission of the apostles?  Or our preachers or missionaries?
How do we carry out this mission on a daily basis where we live?
What methods do we use in our mission to reach others for Christ?
Why are the Scriptures important?  (Come on guys, we just studied this!)
How do you fellowship?  (You better say your small group!)
Why is fellowship important?
What is lacking in our prayer method?
How do we praise God outside of Sunday morning worship?
What is the difference between Biblical and cultural Christianity?
