Coke or Pepsi?

Lesson:
In our over-abundant, American
society, we do not deny ourselves any material possession. Our ever-expanding waistlines are a testament
to our lack of self-control when it comes to our physical appetites. Yet, we seem to be on a perpetual spiritual
diet; denying ourselves of the very spiritual food that will sustain our souls. Jesus
tell us we will be blessed if we stay hungry and thirsty for Him.
How can our appetites get out of control?
With what types of things do we usually quench our appetite?
For what should we be hungry and thirsty?
How do we change our spiritual menu?
Why is self-control such a dirty word?
What helps us keep to our healthy, spiritual diet?
How does your small group play a part?
How does a spiritually fit body serve God better?
