Fellowship:
Icebreaker:
Describe your make-believe kingdom.
What position would you hold in your kingdom?
What does your make-believe castle look like?
What kind of feasts would you have?
Scripture:
Luke 17:20-21, Luke 22:16, Romans 14:17
Lesson:
Everyone enjoys a
great castle and kingdom as is evident from the wildly popular video game,
Minecraft. It is a game where you “explore
randomly generated worlds and build amazing things from the simplest of homes
to the grandest of castles.” As a child
of God, we are living in an amazing Kingdom right now! We don’t enter the Kingdom; it enters us!
When did the Kingdom of God begin?
Where does Jesus say the Kingdom of God is located?
How does the Kingdom of God become a part of us?
What are the building blocks of a Kingdom “castle?”
How should we care for our Kingdom “castle?”
What do we “feast” on in the Kingdom of God? (Romans 14:17)
What are God’s Kingdom people like?
Why should we want more people to join the Kingdom?
