MAY YOUR KINGDOM COME: What is it like?

Luke 13:18-30

Lesson:
Walt Disney had a dream to create a special place, a magic kingdom, where everyone could feel like a kid again.  When you enter those gates, you become a part of the Magic Kingdom. What started out small has expanded around the world. The Kingdom of God is the ultimate Magic Kingdom.

What is the point of the mustard seed story?
Why do you think Jesus gave two examples?
Why will not everyone make it into the Kingdom?
How do you feel about those left outside the Kingdom?
How will they feel seeing others enter?
How did the Jews feel about Jesus saying Gentiles will enter?
How does Jesus change the world’s perspective?

I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS: Tough Love

Icebreaker: What is your favorite Christmas movie? What is your favorite Christmas movie quote? Overview: In the Christmas classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” angel Clarence Odbody is forced to lovingly deliver some tough love when George wishes he had never been born. Clarence grants his wish lamenting that there must be an easier way to get his wings.
