MAY YOUR KINGDOM COME: What is it like?

Scripture:
Luke 13:18-30

Lesson:
Walt Disney had a dream to create a special place, a magic kingdom, where everyone could feel like a kid again.  When you enter those gates, you become a part of the Magic Kingdom. What started out small has expanded around the world. The Kingdom of God is the ultimate Magic Kingdom.

What is the point of the mustard seed story?
Why do you think Jesus gave two examples?
Why will not everyone make it into the Kingdom?
How do you feel about those left outside the Kingdom?
How will they feel seeing others enter?
How did the Jews feel about Jesus saying Gentiles will enter?
How does Jesus change the world’s perspective?

STEPS OF FAITH

Only the passage of time can judge how far we have travelled and how well we have followed the Lord in steps of faith. Time goes quickly and slowly simultaneously. We encounter tremendous obstacles along the way such as leaders with moral failings and a mountain of debt and the obstacles seems unsurmountable; yet, we put one step in front of the other placing our faith in God. “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” ― Corrie ten Boom   It takes courage and steadfastness to keep going.
