Fellowship:
Icebreaker:
What is the most unusual collection you have heard about?
What do you collect?
Why do you like collecting?
Scripture:
Matthew 6:25-34
Lesson:
At the beach during
fall break, the sea gulls were in constant search for food. They weren’t worried about whether the food
would be there. All they had to do was
look for what God had already provided.
We, on the other hand, said, “What are we going to eat?” as if our very
existence depended on the next meal. All
we need to do is seek the Kingdom of God and God will provide everything we
need even before we need it.
What is your biggest distraction from seeking the Kingdom?
Why do we doubt God’s love and provision?
Why do we doubt that God is able to provide EVERYTHING?
Why do we feel we need more of everything?
What is at the root of our desire for power?
What should our focus be in life?
How do we seek righteousness above things?
