Fellowship:

Icebreaker:
What have you been most thankful for this year?
How does thankfulness benefit us?
How does it keep us balanced?

Scripture:
Luke 5:16; Luke 7:36-39; Luke 2:41-52

Lesson:
Preparing a successful Thanksgiving meal is a balancing act.  It usually involves a strict timetable so that all the dishes are completed exactly at the proper time.  Having a successful life means living a life of balance.  You have to order your life with wise use of the precious time you have been given.

How did Jesus withdraw from the pace of life?
What do we gain from tending to our spiritual health?
What importance did Jesus put on relationships with people?
Why do you think Jesus needed relationships?
Why are relationships important to a balanced life?
What do we know about Jesus’ religious education?
How important is church attendance to you?
How do you use your unseized time?
