Fellowship:
Icebreaker:
Do you consider yourself to be creative?
(Everyone is creative in some way since we are made in our Creator’s
image!)
How does your creativity exhibit itself?
In what activity do people say you excel?
Scripture:
Isaiah 64:8; Jeremiah 18:1-4; Isaiah 29:15-16
Lesson:
Most people think of
creativity as it relates to art, perhaps a painter, sculptor or glass blower,
but humans are creative by their very nature.
You may paint houses or sculpt bushes or find solutions that no one else
can see. We are all fearfully and
wonderfully made in the image of the Creator of the Universe. When under pressure, remember you are the
clay being molded by the Master Potter into a thing of beauty.
Out of what did God form Adam? (Genesis 2:7)
What is our position related to God?
Why is it important for humans to remember their position?
What causes us to not turn out the way He hoped?
What does He use to re-shape us?
How does the pressure of re-shaping feel?
Why is it so hard to trust His design?
How can we help others trust His design for them?
