Coke or Pepsi?
Mountain or ocean?
Dog or cat?
Biscuit or cornbread?
Football or basketball?
Car or truck?
Cake or pie?

Weekly Overview:
Twenty-four hour a day news and constant communications have made us citizens of the world whether we want to be or not!  Our lives are intertwined with the lives of citizens of countries all over the globe.  We see with our eyes and care with our hearts about the suffering of people who are half way around the world from us as well as right next door.  Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey not to become king of Israel but to become King of All.  Our mission is to take the Good News message of Jesus to the people we encounter every day.  We are to live our lives as citizens of heaven even now while we are citizens of this world.

Weekly Discussion Questions:
Read Philippians 1:20-30

Why was Paul afraid of being ashamed of his behavior?
Why do our everyday lives matter?
What does living for Christ look like?
How do you feel about dying?  (Not today!  Much later.)
What can we do now as a citizen of heaven to build the Kingdom?
How does suffering (brokenness) factor into your service to God?
What does it mean to you that you have dual citizenship?

Group Prayer:
Pray that our lives bring honor.
Pray for those around the world who suffer for Christ.

Pray for all Easter services and activities.

I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS: Tough Love

Icebreaker: What is your favorite Christmas movie? What is your favorite Christmas movie quote? Overview: In the Christmas classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life,” angel Clarence Odbody is forced to lovingly deliver some tough love when George wishes he had never been born. Clarence grants his wish lamenting that there must be an easier way to get his wings. After George has a frightening experience of what life would have been like had he never been born, Clarence says, “ Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?” In the end, George realizes how wonderful his life truly is despite its difficulties. Truth without love is brutality, and love without truth is hypocrisy.   -- Warren W. Wiersbe God loved us so much that He sent His Son as the Baby Jesus to redeem us. He has placed preachers, teachers and a church in our lives to give us direction so we can mature in our faith. He disciplines us wi...
