day of summer? (Wednesday)
What is your favorite summer
activity?
What did summer mean to you as a
child?
Weekly Overview:
We come
to the last verse of Psalm 23. “Surely
your goodness and love (mercy in some versions) will follow me all the days of
my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” This verse is a promise from God and a commitment
from us.
Absolutely,
without question, God has promised to shower goodness and mercy on us. It is a part of His covenant to us that Jesus
sealed with His blood on the cross. His
presence and provision for us is guaranteed.
(You knew there was a BUT coming.) But we must be obedient to God’s call on our
life. We must desire His presence and
draw close to Him. We want to live in
God’s house and be in His presence forever!
